Intergenerational Workshop «100 Years of Gaudí. One City, One Museum: From Barcelona to Havana»

This intergenerational workshop is part of a series dedicated to the centennial of Antoni Gaudí's death and proposes to connect the city of Barcelona with Havana through the museum. The session includes the lecture «From the Lily to the Zigzag: Art Nouveau and Art Déco, Two Faces of Modernity», presented by Manuel Landín, professor at the Department of Art History of the School of Arts and Letters at the University of Havana, from Spain. It is a space to learn how two artistic movements shaped the architecture and decorative arts of the early twentieth century. It takes place in the building of Cuban Art of the museum, in the heart of Old Havana.
