The loft
A loft in Old Havana, designed with artists from the city. A staircase with turquoise steps climbs to the sleeping loft, where the double bed has a door painted with sky and clouds as its headboard, beneath a skylight. Downstairs, the living room with a sofa bed, the kitchen and a turquoise table, over patterned cement tiles and under blue beams; grille doors open onto the plants. The bathroom has a separate bathtub and shower, which is unusual in Old Havana. Air conditioning throughout the loft, the sleeping loft too. It's one floor up: you climb 36 steps. To reach the sleeping loft there's a staircase with open steps.
