The loft
A warm wooden loft in Old Havana. It's one floor up: you reach it by 36 steps. When you come in, the bathroom is a little brick house with a wooden roof, and beside it a staircase climbs to the sleeping loft, where the double bed is beside a medio punto, Havana's fan-shaped window. Downstairs, a floor of flowered cement tiles, a kitchen with green tiles, books, a radio and a sofa bed for the third person. Air conditioning throughout the loft, the sleeping loft too. By the door, a map of the world is waiting for you to pin your city on it.
