No. It's served in the courtyard, you order it from your Portal after check-in, and it's paid for separately.

What time can I arrive? How long can I stay?

The apartment is ready from 3:00 PM and you leave it before noon.

Can I arrive earlier?

Yes, if nobody is leaving your apartment that day. Ask us with your arrival time and we'll confirm.

Can I leave later?

Yes, if nobody is coming into your apartment that day: you can stay later, at no cost. Ask us and we'll confirm.

Can I leave my bags before I check in or after I check out?

Yes. If you arrive before the arrival time or leave after the departure time, we'll keep them for you. Write to us with your time.

How do I check in?

From your Guest Portal, whenever you like after you book, or when you arrive at the house, with us. One person can do it for the whole group.

When do I see the access codes?

In your Portal, 72 hours before your arrival. For security, we never send them by email.

When do I pay for the reservation?

If you book on the website, you pay everything when you book, by card or bank transfer.

Can I pay by card?

Yes, you can pay for the reservation by card or bank transfer. What you order during your stay is paid in cash; you can also pay by card, with a surcharge.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, for a pet fee. Let us know when you book.

Can I come with children?

Of course. The price of each apartment is for two people, and from the third person there's an extra-person fee: for children aged 4 to 12 it's a little more than half of the adult one, and children aged 3 or under don't pay. If you need a crib, ask for it when you book.

Is there air conditioning?

Yes. All the apartments are fully air-conditioned.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, included. It works while there's power, and in Cuba the connection can fail for a while: read our tips in "Internet in Cuba". If the power goes out, you have fans and battery-powered lights, and a power bank to charge your phone.

Can I smoke?

Not inside the apartments, but you're welcome to smoke in the courtyard and on the roof terrace.

Are there power outages?

The historic center is one of the areas of Havana with the fewest power outages. Even so, every apartment has fans and battery-powered lights, and a power bank to charge your phone.

What is the house like at night, and what if there's a blackout?

With the power on, the courtyard and the roof terrace are quiet. If there's a blackout at night, the battery-powered lights let you move around safely: keep your phone flashlight handy, go slowly on the stairs (there are 36 steps) and, if you have an emergency, at night you can also call the house manager on WhatsApp from your Portal.

Do I have to climb stairs?

Yes. All the apartments are one floor up, with 36 steps. If they're difficult for you, write to us before you book.

Is there parking?

The street is pedestrian. About 50 meters away there's a paid parking lot.

Can I have visitors?

Yes. If someone stays overnight, they have to give us their identity document and pay the extra-person fee, if it applies. Parties aren't allowed.

Can I walk everywhere?

Yes, everything in the historic center. The four squares, from the door: Plaza de San Francisco, 1 minute; Plaza Vieja, 3; Plaza de Armas, 7; and Plaza de la Catedral, 9. The Capitolio and the Malecón, 15. For Vedado or the beach, we arrange a taxi for you.

Can I cook?

Yes, in all the apartments with a kitchen. La Playa is a room and doesn't have one.

Where do I buy food and whatever else I need?

Near the house there are private stores, farmers' markets for fruit and vegetables, and bakeries. In Cuba it isn't always easy to find everything, so we have them marked on the map in your Portal, and when you arrive we tell you which ones suit you best depending on what you're looking for.

Where do I change money?

If you need Cuban pesos, we'll help you.

Is Old Havana safe?

It's an area with plenty of life, pedestrian streets and light at night. As in any city with tourism, look after your belongings where there are crowds and carry only the cash you're going to use. If you're unsure about a place, ask us.

What do I need to enter Cuba?

It depends on your nationality: check with your airline or the Cuban consulate. In addition, all travelers, children included, must complete the D'Viajeros form before arriving, at dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu.

How do I contact you?
